The Black, Green, and White Peppers available from the Salt Vault are unique in that they are grown in the Kerala jungle, and are harvested by a tribe of indigenous people that still continue to live in the jungle. The Peppers are certified organic, and have an unusually high oil content compared to peppers that are grown on plantations. Once you have tried these peppers, it is highly unlikely that you will go back to the standard peppers available in supermarkets.
We also supply a Long Pepper from Indonesia, Pink Pepper from Brazil, as well as Szechuan green and red peppers.
Recently we have also started selling a black pepper from Kerala that is harvested in a Tiger Reservation. We call it Tiger Pepper, and it has a nice bite.
